Modis is seeking a Quality Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity with an automobile manufacturer in Chattanooga, TN. This position requires previous quality assurance experience, analytical and conceptual thinking, problem solving skills, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Monitor, maintain, develop, and review Quality Accessory processes for our brand accessories

Coordinate accessory problem investigations and follow up activity required until consistent part quality level is achieved.

Coordinate escalation activities for all topics related to the port installation process, audits and field complaints to the port and the suppliers.

Communicating with the teams at the ports regularly, monitoring the outcome of the installation process as well as any reworks, holds and new installations.

Assist in resolving Accessory manufacturing and field complaints via communicating to supplier, monitoring and analysis of the quality problems, assuring that the contingency and definitive measures are implemented assuring process stability and preventing issues from reoccurrences.

Support as needed with escalation activities with suppliers and group personnel to implement necessary corrective/ preventative actions for the improvement of quality systems, processes, and products critical to the supply of parts.

Coordinate, identify, and assist on implementing technical factors based on production risks and warranty data.

Assist in maintenance of Accessory Quality processes and coordinate communications with ports and suppliers.

Coordinate and assist with completing fitment trials and installation instruction reviews and approvals

Create, analyze, and distribute various quality reports.

Monitor launches analyzing feedback received from ports for improvement recommendations on the installation instructions

Perform reviews of all technical information available in the EASY system, monitoring the applicability of accessories for the models in the market.

Approve / assist with Installation instructions, training, and approvals for accessory launches

Conducts monthly communication call with ports.

Serves as Liaison between our factories, ports, and various other teams

Coordination of designing the criteria for new accessory inspection

Qualifications:

• Computer savvy - skilled in the use of software and proficient in all areas of MS Office

• Organized and systemic.

• Coordinate German and Spanish languages
• Certification: System/ Process/ Product Auditor International experience
