Job Overview
General Summary:
Perform inspections and tests on incoming material, in process and finished product to ensure that quality standards and process controls are being met throughout the manufacturing process. Generate the appropriate documentation, records, and reports. Support quality, engineering, and manufacturing as needed.
Education and/or Experience:
Associates Degree in Technical Discipline
5 years of professional Quality Control experience
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Proficient use of quality measurement equipment including SmartScope and/or Keyence operation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
Working knowledge of MiniTab and SPC programs
Must be highly safety conscious
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on products using various equipment
Perform capability studies and gauge R&R
Produce certification documentation on first article and final inspections to prescribed method
SPC data entry and interpretation
Log and manage quality opportunities in QOS system
Interaction with clients regarding quality documentation/requirements
Internal auditing and working knowledge of ISO standards
Work performed in a manufacturing environment
May work at different workstations as quality needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the inspection process
Follow the standards of ISO 13485 and ISO 9001 International Standards
Other responsibilities as assigned by manager
