Job Overview
Apple Valley Foods, US, Inc. is looking for Quality Assurance Technicians--1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift openings!
This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities
• Verify food quality and safety by auditing processes and procedures.
• Verify compliance and consistency to company specifications, customer requirements, and regulatory requirements.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain analytical testing equipment and utilize for product evaluation.
• Inspect company ingredients, packaging materials, work-in-process, and finished products for compliance with specifications.
• Perform pre-operational equipment inspection and allergen sanitation (including ATP testing).
• Conduct product, ingredient, and environmental sampling for external lab analysis.
• Conduct periodic sanitation, GMP, and HACCP audits. Review findings with management.
• Collect, compile, and analyze data, create reports, identify and provide recommendations based on trends.
Qualifications
• High School diploma with a strong aptitude in science, math, and statistics
• Must be able to work with little supervision
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to follow written and oral directions in English
• Exhibit a positive attitude within a team environment;
• Detail oriented and self-motivated;
• Regular and predictable attendance.
