Your Role:

We are seeking contract professionals for Megasys Project Technician roles supporting Client Electronics! This is a challenging, hands-on, rewarding job opportunity for people who want to join a growing business in a career role.

Project Technicians are intermediate to expert level & will assist with gas/chem system commissioning and Demo. Support the Tool install team for ongoing projects. Assist with completing PM's for site equipment and also troubleshoot component failures. This role also supports the Operations group during peak activity and provides site training needs for new hires.

This contract engagement offers on-the-job training for quickly learning critical technical skills to excel in this role and be considered for converting to permanent as determined by supervisors and business needs.

Project Technicians work on systems and maintain supply of chemicals and gases to a semiconductor manufacturing environment that makes the chips used in electronic devices such as Smart Phones, LEDs, and Flat Screen TV's.

Technicians will be responsible for the safe operation of assigned chemical and/or gas distribution systems, with duties including:

• Commissioning/Decommissioning of Gas/Chem Equipment
• Complete PM activities on required maintenance schedule
• Gas and chemical equipment troubleshooting and preventative/repair maintenance
• Training and Development of other entry-level Megasys Technicians
• Handling and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers (Supporting Operations Group as needed)
• Computer operations to support job functions and customer needs
• Support of quality systems

Physical Attributes:

• Occasionally climbing ladders (utilizing fall protection)
• In some cases, Technicians must put on Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator (this type of respirator provides air from a cylinder through a mask connected to the cylinder) while working with chemicals (approx. 10-15 minutes
• Basic lifting (up to 40lbs)
• Bending of the knees and overhead reaching
• PPE made available to workers includes safety glasses, hard hat, ear plugs, chemical aprons, gloves, etc. safety shoes.

Who You Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in maintenance or equipment technician

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in chemical and gas distribution equipment
• Navy Nuclear power school or Military trained
• Proficient with MS Office Suite
• Strong technical aptitude
• Excellent communication skills

A variety of shifts are available, such as day, night, 5-day, and compressed shifts (3 days on, 4 days off / 4 days on, 3 days off) based on business needs! Overtime is available as well!
