Are you an experienced Project Quality Lead? Wood is currently looking for a Project Quality Lead to join their Conventional Energy Team in Calgary or Edmonton, AB.
Responsibilities:
• Promote the awareness of quality management principles (including quality and MS inductions) and provide advice and guidance to peers and colleagues.
• Implement Quality Management System requirements as directed by their lead/manager, ensuring compliance with Wood and client quality standards and/or ISO 9001 and other requirements.
• Plan quality activities to be performed in line with agreed budgets.
• Prepare and implement quality plans in accordance with client and execution plan requirements.
• Attend kick off meetings as required to provide quality support and advice on quality deliverables.
• Review and approve product/material requisitions and validates quality control and certification requirements.
• Plan, implement and report on both internal and external risk based audit programs.
• Manage and analyze data arising from non-conformance and corrective actions.
• Provide input to and participate as required in quality management reporting and reviews.
• Work across functions to identify continuous improvement.
• Undertakes investigations of quality related failures.
• Mentor and develop quality resources.
This role will be office based to start but will transition to a site rotation in a approximately 6 months.

Skills / Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Degree/Diploma in Quality management or related discipline (desirable)
- Membership of CQI/ASQ or equivalent country specific body (desirable)
- Quality auditor qualification by recognized industry body
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
- 20+ years relevant experience (Preferably some food industry or seed processing related industry experience).
- Comprehensive understanding and application of ISO 9001
- Proficient in the analysis of processes and data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- High level of communication skills in both written and spoken format
