Prologis is seeking a Project Manager passionate about construction and eager to manage a large portfolio of Energy and Mobility developments from design through construction and handoff to Asset Management. Prologis is currently ranked for onsite solar among US corporations and is expanding our commitment to renewables globally. With over 4,700 buildings owned around the world, the types of renewable projects you help build will be innovative, meaningful, and exciting. Our ability to build at scale is unmatched. You would be part of a top-notch team of Global Energy and Mobility professionals and work closely with the groups who are building over 200MW of solar, storage, electric vehicle and other energy solutions annually. Internally, you'll partner closely with local operations construction managers, market officers, leasing officers, capital deployment teams, and on-the-ground customer-facing teams.

You will report to the Manager, Energy Projects - US. As one of our team of regional renewable construction and project management expert, you will oversee, coordinate, and manage the vendors and subs we work with who are responsible to build a portfolio of projects for Prologis. You will represent Prologis to ensure the work is consistent with our standards and specifications and drives value for our customers. This role requires experience building energy projects and knowledge or expertise in electrical, structural, and civil work. This position offers an unparalleled ability to help Prologis build the largest portfolio of commercial energy assets in the US.

What's needed in order to do that:

Coordinate all construction related deliverables from engineering, interconnection, and permitting through construction and commissioning; including working with local internal teams, customers, and vendors to ensure accuracy and completeness
Manage, supervise, and coordinate with EPC partners as well as their multiple subcontractors/installers to ensure safety, quality, and regulator compliance including, but not limited to: local, state, and federal AHJ's, Utilities, Customers, and Prologis' own requirements throughout the Project
Prepare or assist in the preparation of reporting that captures major project milestones, important notes, risk assessment, and other key metrics
Proactively work to mitigate risks with internal and external stakeholders; such as material procurement strategies (early procurement, material storage, long-lead identification, etc.), Utility and AHJ delays, Customer constraints, etc.
Work with Prologis' Utility reps to ensure timely interconnection approval and permission to operate within their service territory
Manage construction related contracting, deliverables, schedules, and change order reviews, from project engineering through construction and commissioning
Research new design and construction specifications, innovations, code changes, and value engineering opportunities and implement those ideas through a collaborative process to enhance and futureproof Prologis' buildings and energy and mobility systems without compromising functionality, value, or life cycle costs.
Interface and develop strong working relationships with various regional internal and external partners to assure risk factors have been evaluated, reviewed, and properly mitigated
Work with Prologis Procurement on direct-buy equipment purchases, and Subcontractor prequalification when/as-needed
Promote customer satisfaction by ensuring proper coordination and communication takes place
Partner with local sales leads on energy proposals as needed to assist with construction / execution related questions including staging, safety, quality, scope, schedule, cost reviews, etc.
Review and manage technical specifications, designs, scopes of work, commissioning reports and other energy related documents as well as reviewing and responding to Contractor RFIs.
Hire and manage design professionals, consultants, contractors, and vendors by managing the subcontractor buyout process, conducting RFPs/RFQs of $1-50M through the development of scopes, bidding & evaluation processes, award, and contracting activities.
Review/approve invoicing, lien releases, turnover documents, designs and other deliverables that are a required part of building and paying for energy projects and ensure these documents are filed properly
Represent Prologis, oversee and sometimes lead weekly vendor-facing meetings and customer-facing meetings at key milestones of each project
Understanding and familiarity with renewable energy credits, investment tax credit, feed-in-tarrif programs, community solar, self-generation incentive program, etc. and ability to speak to these programs is preferred

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Planning or Engineering (Electrical, Civil or Structural), strongly preferred.
Minimum of 5 years' experience leading and managing construction projects preferably for a rooftop solar developer.
Experience managing power purchase agreements with strict commissioning requirements, as well as design-build, O&M, storage and energy as-a-service agreements.
Experience in managing complex multi-site portfolios and conducting due diligence in the renewable energy industry.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong negotiation/mediation skills.
Proven track record of project execution/construction success in the renewable energy industry.
Renewable energy, solar, storage, EV knowledge and experience strongly preferred.
Experience serving Fortune 100 clients.
Able to travel up to 40% of the time.
