Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Maintain project drawings, procurement, RFI, and submittal logs
• Assemble, review, distribute equipment material and methods submittals
• Assist Project Manager with purchasing materials, pricing Change Order estimates
• Compose RFIs in a way to improve project profitability
• Distribute RFI responses, returned submittals, and newly issued drawings
• Review with Project Manager (PM) and construction team the returned RFI and submittal responses, and help develop the team's re-submittal or re-RFI responses, as required
• Help determine if company or our subcontractors have costs associated with RFI responses
• Collect and enter Time & Material work orders hours for each open Change Order
• Finalize T & M change orders as they are completed, review with PM
• Review outstanding change orders and their status with PM
• Distribute information to our subcontractors
• Assist Foreman in scheduling their work, daily communication with GC supervision team
• Assist Foreman with identifying and procuring required material and equipment, and making sure it's onsite when needed

Desired Characteristics:

• Strong work ethic, initiative and a can-do problem-solving attitude

• Excellent listener and communicator

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and Word

• Bluebeam, Adobe editing, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project training is a plus

• Experience in mechanical contracting is a plus

• Must present a strong, confident and professional image

• Must be able to commute to different jobsites within the Greater Los Angeles Metro Area
