Job Overview
The role is located in Broomfield, CO, and the role will report to the Director of Project Delivery, Utility-Scale Renewables
What you'll do:
Manage the Project Team including the Contractors, the Owner-Engineer, the on-site Construction Monitoring Team, and other project administration staff. The on-site team may include a staff of 7 to 10 persons including site management, safety, logistics, and quality control.
Manage multiple construction projects at the same time.
Conduct Weekly Meetings including Design Reviews, Coordination with the local Utility and Transmission Operator, and Site Coordination.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports for Progress, Safety, and Quality.
Manage Construction and Procurement Contracts, Invoices, Change Order Requests, Submittals, and RFIs.
Prepare Cost Forecast Reports.
Assist with pre-construction activities
Assist with the management of the Project Schedule and Schedule Updates.
Assist with developing and implementing the Inspection, Testing, and Commissioning Plans.
Manage the Interconnection Process and Project Close-Out.
Assist with the development and implementation of the Document Controls Processes.
Provide Training and Mentoring to the on-site Construction Management Team.
Build, foster, and maintain a collaborative working environment within the Project Team.
Carries out other duties as assigned
What you bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 3+ years of Project Management Experience constructing grid-scale wind or solar projects or complex construction projects.
A minimum of 3+ years of onsite construction experience with renewable or complex construction projects is strongly preferred.
Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills.
Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
Comprehensive knowledge of Construction Processes and Sequencing.
Hands-on Experience with Tools and Equipment.
Leadership and Problem-Solving skills.
Ability to lead and adapt in a demanding, ever-changing environment
Takes a collaborative approach to getting the work done.
Physical ability to conduct regular site walks.
PMP is strongly preferred

Must be available to travel 50% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips

The position offers an annual salary range of $74,025 to $123,375 with competitive benefits and is bonus eligible. Any extended offer will be based on the applicant's experience.
