WWT's Integration Technology Center teams work in a climate-controlled production environment with advanced networking, secure remote access, and certified procedures specifically designed to assist our customers with creating, developing, and configuring the latest cutting-edge technology solutions. The team is comprised of certified engineers with logistical and technical expertise in the latest infrastructure and software technologies. What will you be doing? The manager will work with internal partners and customers to provide qualified staff for our Integration Technology Center services engagements. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for developing a strategy and plan to handle future growth in the various technical verticals through resource capacity planning, training, and process improvement. The successful manager will also provide the engineer's leadership, mentorship, and guidance as they execute their assigned engagements. RESPONSIBILITIES: Technical manager who leads a team of various leaders and Engineering professionals. Maintain compliance with Safety, ISO, and TL9000 requirements. Resolves issues by diagnosing problems, determining possible resolutions, and implementing effective solutions. Development, monitoring, and delivery of critical KPIs used to measure, improve, or change the process in which the team operates and delivers world-class services. Accountable for professional and personal development of direct reports. Drives accountability, builds trust and communicates effectively within the team to deliver high-performance expectations and operational support. Control costs through the productivity of personnel, efficient utilization of lab area, and purchases. Scale labor and meet production demands through effective scheduling & assignment of employees. Develops and maintains the ongoing collaborative relationship with the customer, team, and all operational organizations. Create, manage, and develop high-performance teams. Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex information in an audience-appropriate, concise format. Promotes the World Wide Technology Integrated Management and Leadership tools and concepts. QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum of 3 years previous experience managing projects, engineering teams, or technical staff in a project execution capacity. Bachelor's degree in technology or a minimum of 8 years experience in information technology 3 years specializing in configuring and supporting the integration of enterprise network and storage solutions or equivalent experience. Demonstrates the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources and activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe and standards. Identifies documentation needs and develops technical reference documentation in accordance with standards and styles. Strong Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for structured cabling systems using various cable types (cat 5e, cat 6, multi-mode and single-mode fiber, etc.). Ability to work independently and solve customer-facing problems.
