To learn more about DEPCOM Power, visit What You Will Do In Your Role Direct and coordinate the project design activities on utility scale solar photovoltaic projects Coordinate with all Engineering disciplines Directly interface with project owners, establish client deliverables, and fulfill project needs Work with various permitting agencies throughout the country to obtain construction permits Coordinate with Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, Legal, Accounting, and Executive Management Maintain project documentation related to design Identify critical constraints and devise contingency plans Communicate project expectations Ensure engineering work meets applicable codes, industry standards and safety practice Assist Procurement in determining quantities, lead times, and applicability of selected equipment and material The Experience You Will Bring Requirements: BS Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering 3-8+ years of Project Engineering experience 2+ years of solar utility-scale experience, ideally with an EPC Must be open to 1-3-day business trips on short notice for 25%-60% of the work week Strong understanding of prime contract and subcontract language THIS POSITION IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR VISA SPONSORSHIP Our goal is for each employee, and their families, to live fulfilling and healthy lives.
