Must-haves

5+ Years of Experience in Project Engineering (Civil or Mechanical Eng. Education with Experience supporting Transmission, Substation, or Distribution Power Delivery Projects)

Familiar with and comfortable applying standard codes such as, NESC, IEEE, ASCE, and ACI to all PE work.

PE License or the ability to obtain a PE within 6 months or once eligible.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil or Mechanical)

Experienced using MS Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation, and/or PLS-CADD.

An employer in Houston, TX is looking for a Professional Engineer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for operating as a junior PM. They will be responsible for preparing and driving forward all technical deliverables as they relate to the conceptual and design components of their assigned projects with the Power Delivery business group. They will also be responsible for preparing plan and profiles, structure load trees, structure assemblies and details, stringing charts, foundation schedules and details, and bills of material. This professional will help develop and mentor junior EITs. Additionally, this person will provide QC support as needed. They will also support cost estimate functions, meet with clients/stakeholders, and make site visits as needed.
