Paragon is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Project Engineer to join our rapidly expanding Innovation Team to support the future development of Advanced Nuclear reactor and Small Modular Reactor (SMR) instrumentation.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all engineering and technical disciplines that projects involve.
• Work with a team to schedule, plan, forecast, resource and manage all the technical activities aiming at assuring project accuracy and quality from conception to completion
• Prepare, schedule, coordinate and monitor the assigned engineering projects
• Monitor compliance to applicable specifications, codes, practices, QA/QC policies, and performance standards
• Interact with the engineering team to ensure adherence to the project specifications and quality program requirements
• Report regularly on project status
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support
• Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions
• Generate project related documentation to fulfill contract requirements
• Responsible for ensuring everything goes according to plan during the implementation time frame

Requirements:

• BS degree in Nuclear Engineering or relevant field required
• Experience working in a highly regulated industry, Nuclear industry preferred
• Experience working with Nuclear Instrumentation such as Flux measurements preferred
• Prior proven working experience as a Project Engineer is required
• Working knowledge of software design tools such as Solidworks required
• Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
• Project management and supervision skills
• Decision making ability and leadership skills
