Job Scope

• Execute capital improvement projects at our Minnetonka, MN manufacturing facility.

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate various managers, technical personnel and contractors during all project phases, from scope development through execution & commissioning.
• Participate in front end engineering design of project scope including budget estimation.
• Translate business needs and operational requirements into process parameters and technical requirements.
• Select and evaluate vendors and equipment based on technical requirements.
• Manage vendors and contractors both on site and remotely as they deliver custom equipment, components, and facility improvements within a project environment.
• Manage and organize technical data and documentation. Ensure proper handover to operations at project completion.
• Oversee project financials including budgeting, vendor PO's, Goods receipts, and cost forecasting.
• Position is based in the SUEZ WTS Minnetonka, MN facility.

Job Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience coordinating engineering teams, factory operations, contractors, and technical vendors.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to read and create PFD's, P&ID's, ISO's and electrical drawings.
• Minimum five years professional work experience.
• Direct experience in managing small to medium (up to $5M) Capital Investment projects.
• Basic level of Controls & automation experience. Familiar with control narratives, I/O lists, and functional testing.

Preferred:

• Familiarity with industrial chemical, oil & gas, or polymer coating processes.
• Exposure to local and state regulations as they relate to facility and equipment installations.
• Direct experience in commissioning complex manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Plant 3D is a plus.
• Experience specifying and installing custom & automated manufacturing equipment.
• SAP familiarity or experience.
