What You Will Be Doing
- Functional knowledge of contracts, drawings, estimates, and specifications to evaluate and ensure relation and compliance to project requirements.
- Obtain and maintain data, information, communications, and approvals required by project and company requirements between owner, architects, engineers, contractors/subcontractors, or other project related entities.
- At direction of his/her supervisor completes routine reporting (Daily reports, Weekly Progress Reports, Monthly Reports, Submittal & RFI Logs, Change Order Logs, etc.).
- Performing takeoffs on scope in the plans (either related to an RFI or PCO).
- Maintain document and project controls systems and procedures. Monitors, evaluates and ensures compliance with systems and procedures.
- Participate in project meetings to include documentation, administration, and tracking of relevant information and statuses.
- Coordinating and communicating with the project Commissioning Agent to ensure commissioning procedures are being followed and documented.
- Evaluates, tracks, and ensures contractor, architect, engineer, and provider contractual requirements on areas of safety, performance, project staff, and equipment for project leadership.
- Conducts daily site walks and photographs progress in the field, downloads photos to software system for filing and distribution.
- Project closeout to ensure punch list resolution and to secure guarantees, warranties, as-builts, and related provisions for project leadership and handover to owner entities.
- Provide all services and objectives to ensure the quality of Vanirs services.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field of study
- 1+ Years of General Contractor experience with related project experience in commercial construction (preferably focused in capital projects, life science, and healthcare construction locally)
- Estimating experience
- Proficiency in either Procore or Bluebeam is required
- Understanding of architectural, plumbing, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection systems associated with construction activities.
- Ability to represent employer and related entities in a professional manner at all times to ensure company policies and procedures as well as compliance to all applicable laws and regulations.
- Competitive Base Salary; $75,000-$90,000 (Depending on Experience)
