Job Details

Position Summary The Project Engineer is responsible for working closely with sales staff, engineers,

architects, consultants, construction managers, diverse manufacturers, and to

understand manufacturing processes to produce the requested design.

Essential Functions

• Interpretation of architectural details and drawings
• Effective drafting of designs for installations and fabrication
• Responsible for ordering materials required for fabrication and installations
• Project management
• Effective communication in both technical and business operational terms (oral and written)
• Field measuring
• Produce effective hand sketches of existing conditions and proposed installations
• Accurate data entry

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Ability to fluently manipulate AutoCAD (strong AutoCAD experience required)
• Preferred experience in Inventor and/or Vault
• Read and understand Architectural Shops Drawings
• Advanced Excel skills
