Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career? We have an amazing entry level opportunity for a Project Engineer to break into the commercial real estate construction world.

The Project Engineer is paired with a project manager to gain project management experience by enhancing previously acquired skills. As the PE, this role offers the opportunity to develop skills in construction operations, client development & management, subcontractor relations, project planning, site safety, corporate culture, and organizational skills.

A Day in The Life

Set up and maintain budgets and cost reports with Project Manager.
Set up and maintain project schedules in Microsoft Project.
Collaborate with development coordinator to create owner contracts, subcontracts, and change orders in Yardi.
Set up and maintain all onsite construction documents, including plans, specifications, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and associated revisions.
Manage job processes including Requests for Information (RFI's), submittals, Change Order Logs, meeting minutes, and invoices. Review and log subcontract change orders.
Support with bidding, qualifying, and awarding process for all subcontractors for individual projects. Assist with the preparation and presentation of the project Bid Book to tenants and/or ownership. Value engineer job costs and negotiate, as necessary.
