Job Description - Project Developer (Developer) is responsible for developing multiple capital infrastructure (primarily MEP) and energy savings performance contracting projects from solution / scope development to the design and pricing or detailed engineering phase. The Developer works closely with Business Development (Sales) Team and our energy engineers to provide our prospective clients with the technical and economic solutions that meet their buying criteria. The Developer also works with our Project Management and Team as the project moves to the final scope development and firm pricing phase to ensure an effective transfer of information, intent and project lead responsibilities. - The Developer maintains effective working relationships with the client and their facility managers and end users, as well as the EAS Sales and Project Management Teams. Key to maintaining those relationships is regular communication of the project development status through meetings, along with written and verbal updates of the development deliverable and schedule. - The Developer will utilize support from internal and external technical support groups as required in the support of the projects. The Developer is responsible for managing all assigned project(s) and representing the Aramark's and the Client/Owner's best interests in developing projects to meet clients' needs while managing financial and technical risk. Job Responsibilities + Performs Project Development tasks for Aramark's Infrastructure and Energy (I&E) design/build projects from the solution development through the detailed design phase. + Works directly with the business development team and client to identify client needs and develop technical and economic solutions that meet those needs and client purchasing criteria. + Performs and manages others in identifying energy conservation measures and performing energy savings calculations, ECM cost estimating and report development + Performs quality reviews of energy auditors work including energy calculations and reasonableness of overall energy savings projections. + Assists in identifying contractors and engineering firms best suited to meet the needs of projects in the development phase. + Manages consultants and subcontracting partners in the development of project scopes of work and costs. + Leads reviews of designs, scopes of work and cost estimates with the Project Management Team as the proposed solutions are developed and financial proforma's are developed. + Administers professional consulting contracts working with Aramark's financial and legal teams. Assists in the development of Aramark I&E processes and internal infrastructure to enable the efficient and effective management of construction projects. Qualifications + Experience, 10-15 years of energy project development and / or energy engineering experience in serving institutional and/or commercial building client. + Facilities Management experience a plus + Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering is a plus. + AEE Certified Energy Manager certification a plus. + Professional Engineering License is a plus Education About Aramark Our Mission Rooted in service and united by our purpose, we strive to do great things for each other, our partners, our communities, and our planet.
