Description:

Architect with experience in architecture for commercial building projects. This Architect will perform architectural and design projects that require application of technical expertise. They will be responsible for projects and have leadership responsibility for less experienced staff. They will be involved in projects from concept to completion. Projects include commercial, private, public safety, education, design-build, local / state, and industrial. Primary responsibilities listed below:

Plan and lead preliminary studies of job requirements and scope, determine design criteria and create design concepts

Conceptualization and production of graphic and written material for a major segment of a client project

Direct the architectural support staff in development of detailed design and construction documents

Coordinate between engineering groups, client, vendors, and contractors

Review and recommend action on client request for change orders and obtain approvals

Perform construction contract administration including bid analysis, contract awards, change orders, pay requests, etc.

Architect will use Revit and/or AutoCAD daily for architectural design projects

Projects will include a wide variety of project type, scope, and complexity

Assist business development and proposal preparation

Proposals, contracts, AIA contracts, project documentation
