Job description

College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving is a rapidly growing Junk Removal & Moving company based in Lowell, MA. We are looking for a Crew Chief to join our team and help us meet the demand for our moving services. All of our "captains" earn a generous hourly rate and have the ability to earn un-capped commissions by selling moving supplies, junk removal, and insurance coverage to our clients.

$17 - 23 per hour

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Safely operate our moving trucks at all times.
• Take overall responsibility for the truck, crew, and interaction with the customer on our jobs
• Ensure that the customers items are properly padded & protected on all jobs.
• Inspect truck(s) - check lights, fuel level, tools, and equipment.
• Obtain and review job paperwork.
• Manage crew and drive performance to ensure client satisfaction
• Inspect truck for needed supplies: tape, pads, boxes, etc.
• Contact customer if crew is behind schedule and will arrive late.
• Ensure paperwork is complete before departure - B/L, insurance, damage waiver, etc.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability
• Year-round work
