Job Overview
Pemex Deer Park is a highly complex refinery located 18 miles east of Houston in Deer Park, TX, and is a part of the Pemex group which is a fully integrated oil company in the Americas, working across the entire value chain: exploration, production, industrial processing/refining, logistics and marketing. Pemex Deer Park provides a diverse and inclusive work environment that employs approximately 1000 employees with another 1200 contractors on site. The refinery's rated capacity is 340,000 barrels per day and has the feed flexibility to process multiple grades of crudes to produce the high-quality transportation fuels the world needs. The Pemex site is co-located with other 3 rd party chemical facilities allowing for further integration and optimization of the refinery and its products. Education & Experience Qualifications:
Degreed engineer.
10+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment to include significant exposure to refining operations.

Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Included in the accountabilities and responsibilities for this role are:
- Leads the Production Department in the consistent application and assurance of our Management System and supporting work processes.
- Manages performance of Site Team Leaders and assures their execution of the daily operating plan.
- Responsible for management of the centralized Production resources associated with the delivery of Turnarounds and Capital Project Integration.
- Production Team focal point for management and challenge of Infrastructure projects ($100 million/yr expenditure).
- Responsible for the operator scheduling/payroll reconciliation function of Production.
- Focal point for modernization/digitalization of the tools and work processes utilized by Production.
- Production focal point for USW labor contract interpretation, negotiation and implementation.
- Production focal point for new policy implementation.
- Manages the process of hiring and onboarding new operators.
- Assesses and improves developmental programs/initiatives for Site Team Leaders, Production Supervisor and Production Team Leaders through the Production Supervisor Role Group and the Production Team Lead Role Group.
- Assures the execution of mandatory and developmental training plans within the Production Department.
- Production representative in various cross-departmental improvement teams.
