Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. is seeking a Production Assembly Technician to join our team located in San Antonio, TX.

The Production Assembly Technician will assemble specialty gas valves. They will accomplish this by using a variety tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a variety of operations to correctly assemble/test specialty gas safety valves.

The position is responsible for their own work and will adhere to establish company policies and procedures, paying special attention to all safety protocols and procedures. Position will regularly interface with other assemblers and employees in the facility.

Production Assembly Technician

• Prepare for assembly by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, etc.
• Locate and gather parts for assembly
• Visually inspects, assembles, and welds components for specialty gas safety valves
• Ensures proper assemblies are fabricated in accordance with procedures
• Maintains safe work environment by following Praxair health and safety guidelines
• Follows all work SOP'S related to position
• Verifies specifications by reviewing assembly instructions
• Document work actions by completing production and quality forms
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Basic computer skills are required
• Previous assembly/production work desirable
• 2+ years experience working in clean room environment
• Ability to handle small components
• Mechanical background desired
• Strong communication skills are required
