Our client company is seeking an experienced engineer to work with the project team and engineering contractors to ensure that the process design and control systems design goals for the plant are met from inception to start up.
You must be willing to:
Participate in reviews of basic/detailed engineering documents to guarantee performance
Ensure safety is designed into the asset/support hazard analysis of project design
Support the design of integral control systems (process flow diagrams/P&Ids/equipment lists/specifications
Consult with contractors to identify risks/handle questions/clarify misunderstandings
Participate in process safety evaluations (SIL analysis/HAZOP process)
Participate in the development of final Heat/Material Balance (H&MB)
Develop equipment list/perform equipment sizing
Participate in construction activity with punch list/field review
Requirements (IF YOU DONT HAVE THESE, DONT APPLY)
BSCE (MS preferred)
Minimum 5 years process design/chemical operations experience
Strong problem-solving/written/oral communication skills
Strong IT skills (process modeling/simulation software)
