We have an opening for a Principal Integration and Test Electronics Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in the Tactical Space organization. This position will be located in Dulles, VA.

In this role you will design, develop, and execute test procedures and automated test scripts using spacecraft commands, telemetry and electrical and RF ground support equipment. You should have system level test experience working with spacecraft flight hardware and good computer skills. The ideal candidate has a background in script scripting language and formulate automated test scripts is highly desired for this position but not required.

Daily responsibilities will require test preparation leading to direct contact with satellite and space flight hardware. You must be able to tackle issues utilizing skills obtained in the field of Electrical and RF engineering, or a related discipline, preferably as it relates to system level integration and test. Required skills include the ability to communicate clearly, and to use critical thinking in troubleshooting of problems.

International and or domestic travel to support launch campaigns may be required. Shift and weekend work to support testing will be required periodically.

Basic Qualifications:
Principal Test Engineer
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (ideally Aerospace or Electrical Engineering) and 5 yrs of experience; OR 3 yrs w/ a Masters; OR PhD
  • Possess system level test experience working with spacecraft flight hardware
  • Strong computer skills
  • Must have U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with testing RF systems or design of RF systems is for satellite communications
  • Ability to use a scripting language and formulate manual or automated scripts
  • Strong background in RF systems preferred but not required

Salary Range: $119,000 USD - $139,480 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
