Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer (T3)
Salary Range: $1 USD - $1 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. - Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Perform analysis at all levels of total system product to include concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
- Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
- Perform integration and testing activities with contractor provided equipment and systems with various government provided systems
- Generate test plans, test reports, system and software problem reports, and track issues through resolution
Basic Qualifications for Principal Systems Engineer (T3)
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical) or other STEM discipline, with 5 years of relevant experience in engineering development projects -OR- Master's degree in STEM, with 3 years of relevant experience in engineering development projects -OR- PhD degree in STEM, with 0 years of relevant experience in engineering development projects
- Familiarity or experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools
- Familiarity or experience with system engineering tools such as IBM Rational DOORS
- Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions
- US Citizenship is required with ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance
- Bachelor of Science in an Engineering (Aerospace, Electrical, Industrial, or Mechanical) or other STEM discipline, with 9 years of relevant experience in engineering development projects -OR- Master's degree in STEM, with 7 years of relevant experience in engineering development projects -OR- PhD degree in STEM, with 4 years of relevant experience in engineering development projects
- Familiarity or experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) concepts and tools
- Familiarity or experience with system engineering tools such as IBM Rational DOORS
- Ability to comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions
- US Citizenship is required with ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance
- Familiarity or experience with Agile Development and the Atlassian Toolsuite
- Current Active Secret or Interim Secret Clearance
