The Aeronautics Systems Sector is looking for a well qualified Principal Systems Engineer - Project Engineer to join our diverse team! This position will be located n Palmdale CA.
Essential Functions:
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. The Aeronautics Systems Sector is looking for a well qualified Principal Systems Engineer - Project Engineer to join our diverse team! This position will be located n Palmdale CA.
Essential Functions:
- The Project Engineer on the F35 program will execute change packages; maintain technical integration, cost, schedule, and support organization impacts associated with each unique package.
- Strong communication skills and technical knowledge are necessary to coordinate with the customer as well as the internal Integrated Product Teams (IPT)s.
- A Project Engineer will drive change execution between Engineering, Global Supply Chain and Production to completion and present status and issues to Program Leadership.
- The environment is very dynamic and requires an individual to find solutions and share with colleagues.
- The position is for an individual that enjoys a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and one who excels working in a collaborative/team setting.
- At least 5 Years with Bachelors in Science (STEM); 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.
- Experience working with multi-discipline teams in a technical environment, managing technical projects, and reporting to program leadership.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain final DoD Secret Clearance
- Master's Degree in a Technical or Business
- Final DoD Secret Clearance.
- Prior experience managing cross-functional teams
- CAM experience
