Partner with the best

A Principal Reliability Engineer independently applies extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices of Reliability. You will be an advisor in all of ARMS reliability methodologies and approaches and actively continuously improves our capability. It is important to develop strong industry networks to keep abreast of emerging technologies and tools. You are expected to contribute to innovation through the development and application of more efficient and effective techniques and be passionate about reliability improvements and modeling tools. You will regularly independently identify solutions for clients and delivers engineering services across all of ARMS marketed capabilities. You should be a role model and sought out by clients and other ARMS staff as a leader in your areas of expertise and empathically support others in their journey to growth and success. It is key that you identify ways in which the strategic positioning or capability of ARMS is proactively improved to be the leading provider of reliability solutions globally.

As a Principal Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating problem solving sessions using Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Undertaking and ensure effective application of Reliability Studies using various Reliability Methods including but not limited to FMECA, Lifecycle Cost Calculations, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Performing data handling and IT skills.
  • Providing project management and administration
  • Managing time, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Contributing to business development
  • Coaching and mentoring
  • Training others in Reliability methods for client in-house training and public seminars for Asset Strategy Management.


Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Master's Degree in Engineering Discipline or 15 years of Maintenance and/or Reliability experience.
  • Have experience in the application of reliability methods and techniques gained within relevant industry.
  • Have experience in data analysis including extraction from various data sources the ability to summarize data into conclusions.
  • Have experience in leading multi-disciplined groups in the facilitation of problem solving and/or process / maintenance improvement studies.
