Early stage medical device company working on break-through technology seeks an experienced product development engineer to drive second gen. product development. Technical and cross-functional leadership on critical development projects. High visibility role that will help mentor/shape the product development organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

MUST HAVE MEDICAL DEVICE EXPERIENCE

• B.S. degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Plastics Engineering


• 8+ years experience in developing commercially released medical devices (class II or class III)


• Expertise in plastic, sterile disposable medical device design and assembly


• Experience with full product lifecycle development, including validation and sustaining activities


• Experience with blood-related/biocompatible materials highly desirable


• Occasional travel to local manufacturing site
