Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with specific customer specifications and implementations. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues, determines technical solution in accordance with product and customer specifications, and recommends actions to company or customer representatives for coordinative product solution. Assesses product needs in accordance with customer specifications. Conducts technical training and product briefing with customers, vendors and company representatives. Acts as local on-site representative to customers organization.

NG Skills

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must have 9 years of relevant experience. Will consider 5 years with Bachelor's degree; or 3 years with a Master's degree.
  • 9 years hands-on maintenance experience working on jet engines.
  • Experience working on auxiliary and secondary power systems.
  • Understanding and experience in all facets of aircraft and support equipment operations.
  • Ability to understand system description documents
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Experience using 3D CAD modeling programs to read and interpret engineering data
  • Must have an in-scope, active DoD Secret Clearance with background investigation completed within last five years; with ability to maintain. Clearance required to start.
  • Ability to obtain Program Access within 365 days of submission.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
  • Able to collaborate in a team environment to achieve mutual interests and goals.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel CONUS up to 10% of working year.
  • Able to work in both external and internal environmental conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • At least 10 years of flight line aircraft maintenance experience as a propulsion technician
  • At least 4 years' experience working in a developmental/flight test environment
  • Familiar with process development and implementation.
  • Experience in utilizing the USAF Maintenance Manual change process
  • Familiar with Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs).
  • Familiar with technical data certification/verification processes
  • Experience with Common Product Lifecycle Management (CPLM) software
  • Understanding of S1000D international Specification for Technical Publications
Salary Range: $72,400 USD - $108,600 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
