Job Summary:
Supports project management of continuous improvement deliverables as part of the integrated program team. Responsible for the execution of effective continuous improvement of the assigned program. Provide Industrial Engineering expertise and coordination of the OBV final assembly line.Work with the Operations Program Manager and program team to find opportunities for cost reduction, labor efficiency gains, and other continuous improvement activities in support of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Summary of Duties:Provide solutions to complex issues for industrialization of final assembly as partDevelop and execute industrialization plans in accordance with operation and program goalsHelp develop and write standard work proceduresProvide technical contribution to the Engineering and Manufacturing teams to develop optimal production processesDevelop and maintain facility layouts and decipher ways to improve flow of assembly and materialsManage and coordinate the successful implementation of new mechanical ground support equipment (MGSE) in final assemblyDevelop Cycle time and Takt Time standards for entire programs or production lines and plans to achieve themHelp develop and maintain industrialization metrics in line with standard company KPI's and communicate performance on a regular basisResponsible for implementing improvement projects for the programChampion and implement Lean principles (e.g., 5S, visual workplace, flow, etc.) - must be willing to receive Six Sigma yellow beltCapacity to learn and understand regulatory requirements, customer specifications and company specifications for an operationManage facility layouts, material conveyance flow, the iCard program, etc. Be proficient with most site manufacturing proceduresApply concepts relating to manufacturability to engineeringBecome knowledgeable of the assembly process and order of operationsProvide help, guidance, and training as it relates to continuous improvement concepts and project implementationPerform all other duties as assignedMinimum Education or Experience5 Years with Bachelors in Science; 3 Years with Masters; 0 Years with PhD.Able to obtain clearance

Salary Range: $92,200 USD - $138,400 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
