Primary Responsibilities:

• Build constructive partnerships with business leadership to proactively recommend solutions to business issues through practical, elegant, and effective business intelligence and reporting vehicles
• Direct deployment of enterprise data strategy vision through successful program delivery
• Collaborate with global and contractor leaders to develop partnerships that allow for capacity flexibility and offer equivalent and or superior quality delivery capability
• Effectively manages a balanced scorecard metric set that would include key measures such as quality & timely delivery
• Incorporate best practices and standards in metadata and report/dashboard development
• Translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
• Function as a mentor for other team members, providing assistance where needed

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of experience designing, building, optimizing, and managing modern large-scale data pipelines to support data integration for reporting & analytics and machine learning features
• 7+ years of experience consuming data from a variety of sources (RDBMs, APIs, FTPs and other cloud storage) & formats (Excel, CSV, XML, JSON, Parquet, Unstructured)
• 7+ years of experience partnering with Business, Technical, and Strategic Product to manage project commitments in an agile framework; rapidly delivering value to our customers via technology solutions
• 7+ years of experience participating in architectural evolution of data engineering patterns, frameworks, systems, and platforms including defining best practices and standards for managing data collections and integration
• 1+ year of hands on experience working with Snowflake

Preferred Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to work with data analysts and data engineers to deploy machine learning models for reporting consumption
• Experience working in healthcare
• Self-directed and not prescribed. Works with less structured, more complex issues
• Serves as a resource to others
• Self-starter, self-managed, quick learner, problem-solver with a positive, collaborative, and team-based attitude

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado/Connecticut/Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
