The role

• Review, adapt, update, enhance and release foundry DRC/LVS/ Parasitic Extraction/PERC rundecks for Dialog internal customers.
• Provide support to Dialog internal customers (Analog Design teams & Digital P&R design teams) on DRC/LVS and Parasitic extraction.
• Coordinate with our internal and external support/development partners on activities.
• Interface to EDA tool vendors for Dialog's tool evaluation and also for requesting enhancements and bug fixes.
• Interface with the foundry.
• Working on cutting edge tools.
• A high value accorded to innovation, custom flow development, finding solutions to problems with automation.
• Join a motivated team of engineers who are passionate, enjoy brainstorming ideas, and coming up with innovative solutions.
• Work with EDA vendors to improve their tools.

What we are looking for

• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Expert knowledge of tools and programming language for DRC, LVS and Parasitic Extraction (SVRF and TCL) or PVS/Pegasus equivalents.
• Expert in advanced node rundeck development.
• Expert on Calibre PERC.
• Knowledge of Perl, Python, TCL a must.
• At least 10 years' experience in Mentor Calibre.
• Experience with Quantus QRC/ StarRC a strong plus.
• Good understanding of Cadence custom IC Virtuoso platform, Virtuoso-L and Virtuoso-XL, schematic capture and layout concepts.
• Willingness to gain knowledge and familiarity with several CAD tools.

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
