Apply today and join the company that is Leading with Science . Job Details: We are seeking an experienced Primavera Scheduler and Cost Controller for our Project Controls team. This is an intermediate level position and the successful candidate will be responsible for cost control, cost reporting, engineering progress reporting and change management on large projects or a portfolio of smaller projects. In addition, the successful candidate will be involved in the planning and scheduling functions for engineering, invoicing, maintenance updates and analysis of a multitude of projects. More specifically, all candidates will be assessed against the following education and experience background requirements. Your Role: Hands on planning, scheduling, administration and cost control of projects. Involved in all planning and scheduling functions including the development, maintenance and analysis of the integrated schedules for engineering. Ensure that regular updates to reports including status, performance, critical paths, and analysis are provided to the responsible managers. Participate in the establishment of project coding in cooperation with estimating and planning. Convert the estimate into the control budget. Establish and maintain projects in the cost control database. Produce clear cost reports, charts, graphs and any miscellaneous reports requested by the Customer. Generate cash flow reports as directed by the Project Controls Manager. Analyze variances between budgets and forecasts. Inform project management about cost trends and proposes appropriate recommendations. Using data provided by Engineering Leads, update and maintain engineering and design hours and cost progress. Monitor and analyze resource utilization. Create, update and maintain schedules in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project. Schedule analysis. Interface with Customer on schedule integration and other issues as required. Experience with Oracle or large database is a plus. Qualifications: 4+ years experience in project controls with intermediate level experience in planning, scheduling and costing including some team or staff management experience in a Project Controls capacity. Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline. Must have extensive experience working on large projects preferably in the Energy sector. Must be proficient with MS Project, as well as MS Excel and Word. Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 software. Must have exceptional organizational skills and have strong written and oral communication skills. Must work well in a diverse team environment. Must be detail oriented, can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with minimal guidance. Strong leadership and team-management skills. Engineering or Technical educational background is considered an asset. Per our company policy, this offer is also contingent on passing a background and drug and alcohol test before starting at our company. Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000 annually.
