The Pricing Analyst is a key member of the Pricing Team, which is responsible for developing customer savings strategies and forecasting RoadRunner profitability for all inbound accounts. They will collect, organize, and utilize a wide variety of information to analyze the expected costs and revenues of potential business relationships. This analysis must be performed accurately yet quickly to keep up with the consistent growth of the company.
In this role, you will become an expert in the waste & recycling brokering industry. You will spend most of your day exploring every detail of a customer's waste & recycling operation with the goal of saving money and increasing recycling. To succeed you will need to think critically, communicate efficiently, and solve problems creatively. The day-to-day involves a high degree of multitasking, decision-making, and prioritization as you will frequently juggle multiple accounts simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze hauler-customer relationships to identify cost-savings for our customers and profits for RoadRunner.
- Develop preliminary strategies to increase recycling and optimize the efficiency of our customer's waste & recycling operations.
- Communicate frequently with Sales to ensure an effective flow of information between Sales, Pricing, Operations, and FleetHaul teams.
- Maintain market data integrity and work with the Operations team to determine accurate market prices.
- Contract with waste and recycling haulers directly to implement new services and negotiate processes.
- Discover and improve inefficient processes throughout the business.
- 0-2 years of experience in an analytical role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excel Skills - Ideal candidate is proficient.
- Comfort with ambiguity, ability to act without having the whole picture using sound judgment, and strong decision-making skills.
- Passionate about business results and quality, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics, and ownership.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to grasp tactical details.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, is dynamic and can capture a group's interest and maintain it as well as the ability to facilitate meetings with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task, and prioritize conflicting assignments with minimal supervision.
- Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and across all functions of the organization.
- Proven ability to organize/manage multiple priorities coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever-changing business needs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving. Solid decision-making in a timely manner.
- Reports To: Pricing Team Manager
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain or similar field of study required.
