SEEKING ENTRY LEVEL CANDIDATES Description:

Supporting the biggest utility company in Denver at locating and documenting gas and electric lines. Fieldwork consists of taking pictures of equipment, blueprint reading, and measuring equipment. Office work consists of documentation, hand sketches, researching equipment specs for anything on an electric utility pole: transformers, valves, actuators, types of pipe.

Responsibilities:

-GPS survey

-Overhead/underground line locating

-Inspections

-Documentation of power distribution, gas distribution, ROW, compressors and other related facilities

-Complete design tasks for associated utility design projects such as mapping in GE Smallworld, easement validation, design/construction cost estimating and permit package development

-Manage 20-30 active projects

-Review GIS for update or conflict

-Coordinate projects for construction across multiple departments to accomplish timely construction and meet customer, crew member or client needs within a negotiated timeframe
