Join our team at our 1-bed, AASM accredited sleep lab in rural Illinois providing diagnostic and therapeutic sleep testing to adult populations. Great opportunity for candidates who are looking to work efficiently in an independent environment!

Starting pay for this position is $24.20/hour; base pay offered may increase based on experience, skills and internal equity.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Polysomnographic Technologist II works collectively with the Medical Director, Leader, staff and patients to achieve optimal efficiency and success in sleep disorder function testing and scoring. Performs comprehensive sleep testing / analysis and associated interventions under the general supervision of the Leader, Medical Director, or designee and provides supervision of a Polysomnographic Trainee and Polysomnographic Technologist I. A Polysomnographic Technologist II is credentialed in sleep technology.

Qualifications:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Must obtain one of the following:

Successful completion of an accredited educational program with emphasis in polysomnography OR
Successfully transitioned into a polysomnographic technologist I AND successfully obtained credentialing in sleep technology.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

An associate's degree in an allied healthcare field (respiratory care or neuro-diagnostics).

Second credential may include one of the following:

BRPT (Certification in Clinical Sleep Health) CCSH
NBRC (Registered Respiratory Therapist) RRT
(American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists) ABRET
(Registered Encephalography Technologist) R. EEG
