Cor Tech is now hiring Poly Utility Workers for One of the largest plastic packaging manufacturers in the area.
Pay Rate: $15 - $16.50 / hour & 8 hour shifts

SUMMARY: Responsible for the final packaging of a quality container in a correct, safe and efficient manner.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Visually inspects constructed boxes, bottles and supplies to assure quality and accuracy.
2. Hand pack bottles into containers.
3. Folds and inserts dividers into constructed boxes.
4. Folds and sets-up corrugated trays.
5. Load box maker.
6. Remove units of finished product from conveyor system, stack properly and then band units.
7. Palletizes and stretch wraps bottles.
8. Grinds defective bottles in grinding area.
9. Check for proper stacking (i.e. mixed product and/or damaged cases).
10. Maintain housekeeping standards including sweeping, cleaning, trash removal and bailing.
11. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures; BOS and SAP standards and activities and GMP?s.
12. Duties and responsibilities may vary and change due to product specifications.
13. Communicate effectively and appropriately with Production, Quality, and Group Leaders.
14. Other jobs as assigned by supervisor.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
2. Ability to stand throughout entire shift.
3. Ability to work in fast paced environment.
4. Manual dexterity.
5. Good eye and hand coordination.
6. Effective communication skills.
Utility associates report to the cafeteria daily prior to the start of their shift to receive their assignment. Associates receive a 30 minute unpaid lunch which requires clocking out/in. Overtime is paid for hours worked over 40 per week. Double time is paid for hours worked on Sunday. At times, overtime is mandatory and may include a 7 day a week schedule. The pay week begins on Monday and ends on Sunday. Third shift begins their week on Monday night. Payday for the preceding two weeks is on Friday of the following week.
ORIENTATION AND TRAINING:
Normal training for utility associates includes orientation on the first day from 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Training continues from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. for the first week of employment. During the second week, utility associates will report to their assigned shift. Orientation and training is mandatory and is paid at your assigned shift rate.
