Job Overview
F.H. Furr is currently looking for a Plumbing Install Manager! We're based out of Manassas, VA and looking for someone that wants to join our team in-person.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone looking for an exciting challenge. This department is growing rapidly, and with that growth comes the ability to shape the future of the department. This individual will be responsible for recruiting and hiring apprentices, and experienced plumbers alongside our HR department. Once these candidates have been hired, it will be up to the manager and our plumbing trainer to train and develop these individuals into world-class plumbers. Helping employees set and work towards achieving goals is a huge function of this position, as well as holding the team accountable to some exceptional performance standards.
Essential Functions
Recruit, hire, develop and retain an exceptional team that exceeds quotas and performs consistently
Continuously coach and mentor staff
Ensure staff receives adequate training
Handle customer inquiries and problem resolution
Track, understand, and be held accountable for various program metrics, such as efficiency, overall team production, and more
Drive behavior necessary to meet and exceed these targets
Ability to recognize and implement opportunities for improvement
Uphold industry standards of workmanship, quality, and safety in the workplace with your team
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
3-5 years of management experience required
Plumbing experience is preferred
Possess the ability to inspire and drive both personal and professional growth amongst your team
Provide unparalleled customer satisfaction
Drive team performance to achieve all business goals and objectives
Detail oriented, multi-tasker
Good presentation skills and comfortable speaking to a relatively large group of people
Ability to convey confident and decisive messages in a fast-paced, goal-driven environment
Proficient using a computer and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Team player
Positive attitude
