Plumber I

Rise Modular, LLC is a leading construction technology company that designs, engineers, and manufactures full volumetric modular units for inclusion in multi-family apartment and hospitality development projects. This positon is based in Owatonna, Minnesota.

Job Description:

The Finished Plumber will install water, vent, and waste pipe, along with appliances and fixtures such as sinks, toilets, and dishwashers in a modular unit.

Responsibilities:

• Installs pipes for water and gas.
• Assembles pipe sections, tubing, and fitting using coupling, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, plastic solvents, caulking, or soldering.
• Assembles fittings and valves for installation.
• Installs appliances and fixtures to modular unit(s).
• Measures, cuts, threads, and bends pipes to required angles using hand and power tools, or machines.
• Follows instruction on installation.
• Tests plumbing system for leaks and other problems.
• Maintains a clean work area.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• 0-2 years' previous related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Dependable
• Willingness to learn

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing, climbing ladders, bending, and kneeling.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds at a time.
