Job Title: Welder-Flux Core Arch Welder FCAW
Job Location: Plaquemine, LA
Salary: Industry Competitive Rates and Per Diem on Select Jobs
Qualifications:
3-5 years practical experience, experience using modern welding tools and equipment
Attention to details
Job Summary:
Using FCAW welding techniques with fabrication tools
Specialize in MIG and TIG welding of stainless steel, inconel, carbon steel, and aluminum components
Joining and repairing tubular components, and assemblies to specified standards
Determining appropriate welding tools and equipment based on the requirements
Operating angle grinders for preparing required parts that need to be welded
Aligning components using rulers, calipers, etc
Welding components with the help of semi-automatic or manual welding equipment
Medical Questionnaire & Fit Test: NO may be required on select locations
Site Safety: C-Scap
Weld Test required:
This is a Flux core Plate test procedure welded without backing. Plate test vertical, horizontal, and overhead. Back grid and back weld. F6 Filler metal This test will qualify the welder with any FC F6 filler metal.
