The Operator in Training (OIT) program develops Plant Technicians who will operate Cumberland Water Reclamation Facility. Cumberland is searching for self-motivated, career driven individuals for our OIT program. The three-year apprenticeship program provides the following: Paid on-the-job training (Starting Hourly Rate $15.91 per hour) Salary depends on education, experience and licenses. Potential to go to a Plant Technician I within six months ($17.99 Current Rate of Pay) Potential to go to a Plant Technician ii within 12 months ($20.45 Current Rate of Pay) Potential to go to a Plant Technician III in Three Years ($24.69 Current Rate of Pay) Paid overtime Professional certification(s) State certification exam Assigned experienced mentor Excellent Benefit Package Eligibility Requirements: Valid drivers license High school diploma/GED Equivalent Pass a standard physical exam Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Effective verbal and written communication skills Basic math skills Convenient 12-hour shifts.
