Plant Maintenance Electrician
Starting Pay $28/hr+. , multiple shifts available, benefits!
_What you need _
Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license or be a journeyman electrician and successfully pass exam within 90 days of hire. High school diploma or GED also required.
1+ year of maintenance experience with at least 6+ months in manufacturing required.
Ability to comprehend/update basic blueprints, mechanical drawings, schematics/diagrams, test meters as well as follow electrical preventative maintenance programs.
Working knowledge of MP2 system , Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Sanitation Practices (GSP), HACCP , and ability to follow all food safety rules, practices, and concepts.
_What you'll do _
Maintain/repair electrical and mechanical aspects of plant equipment including automated packaging machinery, hydraulic equipment, compressor and refrigeration units, freezer doors, scales, electronic boards, AC/DC drives, PLC, electric hoists, pumps, microwave equipment, all food processing machines, lighting, and facility plumbing system including boilers, air compressors, and hydraulic systems while thoroughly understanding lubrication requirements of various machines.
Scope the work on all assigned projects, order the materials , complete it on time for production , be on budget, and ensure all work passes electrical inspection.
Develop and implement maintenance procedures/innovations to improve efficiency, safety, up-time and reduce maintenance costs with utilization of MP2 system while also assisting production and sanitation as needed.
_Required abilities _
Must be able to see close/distance/color/depth, read, write, perform basic math, talk/hear effectively, and routinely stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb/balance on stairs and ladders, reach with arms/hands/fingers to handle objects/tools/controls, frequently lift/move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift/move 75-100 pounds.
