Supporting regulations and practices for electrical maintenance.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

Possess a High School Diploma/GED or higher(completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution.
Five (5) years or more of maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing facility in a private, public, government, or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

Test, install, replace, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools according to established specifications. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system.
Record and document repair and machine maintenance information. Identify opportunities and participate in safety, cost reduction and reliability improvement activities. Assist in training utility apprentices. Monitor activities of other people working including contractors.

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
