The Impact You'll Make in this Role
As a Plant Engineering Electrical-Mechanic position you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Troubleshooting and solving mechanical equipment and process problems.
Performing preventative/predictive routes, including lubrication.
Establishing and maintaining equipment documentation, including spare parts and PM Work Instructions.
This will also include TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) related activities including but not limited to; minimizing downtime associated with changeovers, PM's, breakdowns and sub-optimal rates.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
Minimum of a two + (2) years technical degree program in a Maintenance related field (Auto Mechanics, Diesel Mechanics, etc.) or equivalent in a private, public, government, or military environment.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
Demonstrated history of good customer and peer relations.
Must possess good documentation and communication skills.
Demonstrated willingness to work overtime.
Self-Starter with the ability to work independently.
Personal computer skills for data entry, word processing, and spreadsheet data.
Travel: May include up to 5%
Relocation Assistance: Not authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
