Description

We are seeking a Full-Time Planning & Platting Technician in our Lincoln office location. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to communicate effectively with team members with an interest in land development. This individual will be responsible for:

• Work closely with internal staff to prepare concept drawings, exhibits, preliminary plats, final plats, admin plats, comp plats, using AutoCAD Civil 3D using a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Assist planning and platting team with submittals to public agencies
• Collaborating with internal individuals & teams to ensure comments from reviewing agencies are addressed
• Provide backup support to the engineering team when needed

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D equivalent
• Experience with Technical Drafting utilizing AutoCAD
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment subject to specific deadlines that must be met, while verifying the accuracy of own and/or others work while maintaining professionalism
• Demonstrated team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certificate and/or Associates Degree in Drafting Technology, Architectural Drafting, Land Surveying or related

• Two (2) or more years of experience in Technical Drafting
• Demonstrated experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
