New Opportunity!! Piping Draftsman
The NES Chicago Offices are actively seeking a candidate for a Junior-Level Piping Draftsman for our Refining Client located in Delaware City, DE. This will be a full-time contract opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.

General Responsibilities
â Responsible for performing design duties on assigned projects involving process, service and utility piping, supports, HVAC, equipment layout, and other mechanically related design.
â Assist project manager in developing bids, proposals, estimates, scopes of work, schedules, material lists, design concepts, design drawings, correspondence, scope change submittals, and other project documentation per customer and corporate guidelines
â Perform field work and technical research
â Maintain project files and documentation
â Certify accuracy and completeness of all deliverable products and services in assigned areas of responsibility
â Maintain scope, schedule and budget in assigned areas of responsibility
â Provide guidance and assistance to subordinate staff members on day-to-day matters
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
â 2+ years of experience working with drafting & design
â Knowledge of heavy industrial process piping design
â Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Plant 3D or similar software
â Ability to successfully handle multiple projects
â Knowledge of P&ID's
Preferred Qualifications:
â Experience in an industrial environment is a plus.
â Working knowledge of incorporating safety, maintainability, constructability, and operational requirements into the design process
â Knowledge of pipe, pipe fittings, valves, piping supports, and insulation used in various industrial applications
â Experience in equipment layout â Working knowledge in obtaining detailed field dimensions in heavy industrial environments
