The Power and Process Group is looking for individuals that can help us grow our Power & Process Division. Our market focus is twofold: 1) the production and distribution of power for private, municipal and utility facilities; and 2) process focused heavy industrial, chemical, midstream/downstream oil & gas facilities.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology a plus but not required.
• 3-7 years of experience drafting and design of piping systems.
• Must be a team player and have interest in developing and continuing to develop skills for a long-time career in the field of Mechanical/Piping engineering.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD required, and CADWorks proficiency is a plus.
• An understanding of how to produce a highly detailed set of piping construction drawing is a must.
• Must possess a high attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task.
• Strong desire to learn and be an integral part of a team environment.

Position Duties:

• Uses experience, education, and judgement to make informed decisions. Retains knowledge and builds on previous experiences to increase capabilities in breadth and complexity.
• Organizes multiple tasks and completes them in an orderly fashion.
• Effectively communicates and coordinates with the Engineer and other PEC Divisions in order to complete design tasks on numerous projects.
• Reviews project submittals for compliance with design checklists and drafting standards.
• Organizes project information and drawing files in a manner that is accessible and understandable for current and future use.
• Researches and understands client drafting and CAD standards and its relevance to the design process.
