Job Overview
Do you have a magnetic connection with animals? Are you a lovable team player who enjoys a sense of purpose in the lives of animals? V.I.C. Pet Care is looking for a Pet Sitter/Walker for South Tampa and the surrounding area. Pet sitters visit client home locations starting in increments of 20 minutes up to an hour in length, with the most typical visit being our most popular 30 minute visit. Must be available Mon-Fri from 11am-5pm with possible opportunities for nights, weekends and overnight pet sitting.

Provide exceptional customer service to pet families
Sitters will refer to client notes and must be able to follow directions with an acute attention to detail
Must be confident attending new client meet and greets to gain critical information to ensure the pets and clients needs are met
Pet sitters must be organized and disciplined
This job is physical and requires pet sitters walkers to walk outside in subtropical temperatures in various weather conditions. Yes, we walk in the rain!
Time during visits will be spent walking dogs, feeding animals, cleaning up any messes that are made by the sitter or the animals, scooping litter boxes, administering medication, picking up and disposing of poop.
Providing TLC to the pets is critical in this role
Pet Sitters will also be required to retrieve mail, newspaper and delivered packages for clients.
Additional duties include blind/curtain/light rotation and houseplant care.
Pet Sitters will be required to check in with V.I.C. Petcare staff and online Pet Sitting Software to complete each visit.
Pet Sitters will be required to leave detailed notes of visits which include photos via the Pet Sitting Software
Sitters must respect strict client confidentiality. Friends and/or family should not be present on visits if they are not employed by V.I.C. Petcare

WORK HOURS
Clients book appointments in 15, 20, 30, 45 and 60 minute increments starting as early as 7:00 am and going as late as 11:00 pm. We are looking for a pet sitter with a flexible schedule who is able to cover mainly nights, weekends and overnight pet sitting. We are also looking for pet sitters and dog walkers Mon-Fri from 8am-3pm.
