Job Overview
Pet and Home Care, Maryland's largest independent pet sitting and dog walking company, is now accepting applications for full-time, part-time, and seasonal pet sitters to join our team in Montgomery County!
We are looking for team members to meet a surge in demand for pet care in Rockville, Potomac, North Potomac, Gaithersburg, Germantown, Bethesda and Silver Spring. We're especially looking to ramp up for a very busy holiday season and beyond!
Assignments may include in-home pet visits, dog walks, and overnight housesitting during the week and on weekends. Work can be flexible and based on your pre-set availability. PRIORITY CONSIDERATION WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE AVAILABLE TO WORK ON UPCOMING HOLIDAYS (THANKSGIVING, CHRISTMAS, AND NEW YEAR'S DAY)
Applicants must have:
At least one year of experience in pet care (pet sitting, dog walking, vet tech, kennel tech, training, grooming, etc.) or at least five years as a pet owner
Heartfelt love for all types of animals, especially dogs and cats
Consistent weekly availability of at least 15 hours
Some weekend, evening, and/or holiday availability
Excellent communications skills
Impeccable pet care and/or employment references
A record of punctuality and reliability
Valid driver's license
Reliable vehicle with insurance
Smartphone
