My client is a growing independent insurance agency with offices in WA and OR. They are looking for a P & C licensed customer service rep for their Yakima, WA office. The book is a mix of standard market policies; many with Safeco. Many insureds are bilingual so the ability to speak both Spanish and English is a huge plus. The agency is on QQ Catalyst, a Vertafore system product. They will train on the software and office procedures. You will work with customers over the phone, over email, and in person. The job is full time, permanent with full benefits. You will work in the office Mon to Fri from 8:30 to 5 pm. You will respond to service requests to issue certificates, add or remove vehicles, help with billing issues, accept payments, and assist with claims advocacy in the event of a loss. You will also quote new policy lines as needed on existing policies as well as write new business from referrals. You will be paid a salary plus 50% on new and renewal business for any new line of coverage you write on an existing account or any new organic account you bring in.
