Job Overview
For this role at our client, assignment is contingent upon the Employer of Record's receipt of sufficient proof that you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (meaning two weeks have passed after the last injection of Pfizer/Moderna or two weeks after receipt of the J&J). Role and Responsibilities:
Position requires a background in the assembly and wiring of electric control panels.
Ability to work in a team on complex tasks and get tasks completed in a timely manner.
Ability to read and understand wiring and assembly drawings, bill of materials.
Ability to build electrical control panels, enclosures using proper power tools and hardware.
Detail oriented to ensure proper assembly or wiring work is done in a timely manner.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Ability to work daily/weekend overtime as required to meet shop demands.
Knowledge of safe working practices.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be able to: read electrical wiring diagrams, wire panels with wire sizes 18 AWG to 1/0 AWG, use hand tools such as, screw drivers, wire strippers, crimpers, cutters, etc., use air driven screw drivers, set and use correctly torque wrenches , lift 30lbs.
on consistent basis, read and use measuring tape with accuracy.
Communicate in English able to read and write.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to operate basic hand or power tools.
Ability to solder a plus, but not required.
High school education or GED equivalent.
